PDF Layer Management: Primary tool for layered watermark insertion
Enable text or logo watermarks across any layer position within the PDF—fast, precise, and layer-aware.
Flexibly Add Watermarks to PDFs
Apply text or image watermarks at layer boundaries to protect content and identify distributed copies within layered PDFs.
How Does PDF Watermarking Work?
Layer-aware parameter controls: adjust size, opacity, placement, and rotation per layer. For text watermarks, configure color, typography, and font size; yielding a high‑fidelity, layer-consistent watermarked PDF.
Work With Multiple Documents
Batch processing across layered PDFs: upload multiple files and apply layer-consistent watermarks simultaneously. Use default layer placements or define custom placement per layer. Retrieve all watermarked PDFs after processing.
PDF Layer Management Workflows: Adding Layered Watermarks Online for Free
Step-by-step workflow for adding layered watermarks to PDFs at no cost using our tool.
-
Step 1: Upload PDF File
- Import source PDFs to establish layer context within the tool
- Import files from local storage or cloud sources (Dropbox) into the layered workflow.
-
Step 2: Apply Layered Watermark to a PDF
- Select 'Place Text' or 'Place Image' from the right-side layer-aware sidebar to target specific content layers.
- In the PDF Layer Management workflow, add a text watermark by supplying content through the sidebar input, creating a new content layer within the document's layer stack.
- Alternatively, within the PDF Layer Management workflow, add an image watermark by selecting 'Add Image' to designate a source image from the local file system, as a new layer in the content structure.
-
Step 3: Set position on page
- Use the Default positioning to map the watermark to a top (header), center, or bottom (footer) region within the page layer.
- Or switch to Custom mode and drag the watermark within the page layer canvas to reposition the content layer.
-
Step 4: Modify layer attributes — opacity, rotation, or text formatting for the watermark within the Layer Management context.
- Interact with the rotation handle to rotate the watermark and fine-tune its transparency within the layered content stack.
- Select the text watermark to modify color, font size, and typeface within the text content layer.
